'The Heartbeat of a Dream'
GATO studios
I created GATO Studios as an extension of my own creative heartbeat, a place where film, animation, and art could coexist freely, without boundaries or compromises. It was born in Ortona dei Marsi, a small mountain village in the Abruzzo National Park in Italy, surrounded by silence, beauty, and the kind of stillness that lets imagination breathe.
From the very beginning, I wanted GATO Studios to be more than a production company. I wanted it to be a creative home , a space where stories are not just produced, but crafted with emotion, visual poetry, and truth.
What started with one artist, one computer, and my old Siamese cat, Marley, has become a living studio, a meeting point between traditional art and new technology, between past and future.
Every project we create, from La Pagina Sportiva to Lo Spauracchio and The Last Reflection and Red Bird, carries a single belief: that cinema can be both beautiful and meaningful, that art can move people, open minds, and make the world a little more human. GATO Studios is, at its core, an act of love , for storytelling, for visual beauty, and for the endless curiosity that keeps us creating.
